Back from grant land...

Grant Land? Grant land is the period of time immediately preceding the submission of a grant. It is not a fun period. . . . lot's and lot's of work crammed into a very short amount of time...

training during such periods is bare minimum and blogging is nearly non-existent.. chores grind to a halt, cooking stops..... life gets ugly.

grant went in yesterday!!! And training... well training wasn't so hot today. I'm trying to switch my training to something other than first thing in the morning. Today I waited too long after lunch to train & got light headed... so I stopped early.

I'm going to figure out this balance.. trying to balance eating & exercise w/out overeating...For now I want to fix my eating habits, and that means I need to eat breakfast a bit later in the morning, and that pushes the workout later as well... no worries, I'll figure it out. It'll just take a little bit of experimenting...

oh.. I found my camera battery charger! I'm taking a short 'road-trip' tomorrow & was hoping to take pictures..... turns out I had put it where it belonged.... for once...

As long as you are trying different things that work for you, here is advice I got when I used to room with a giant health nut. Stay hydrated. Eat carbs in the evening and then not eat breakfast until after you exercise. When you eat the blood is in your stomach digesting the food and not circulating through your body when you exercise. Maybe see how that works for you?
