Are you a coffee drinker? A tea drinker? Both? Neither?
Those of you who know me, know that I drink both. I had room in my life, my habits for both. Coffee was a part of my daily life, especially first thing in the morning. Notice was... In the blink of an eye, my body has decided coffee is the enemy. One day coffee and I were best buddies, the next... well coffee still loves me, but my body doesn't like coffee. It isn't a massive dislike, but enough to keep me from drinking it. Not sure what about the coffee is causing the issue, but I'll do a bit of exploration and experimentation to figure it out. I'm sure it is a temporary phenomenon. I've got to figure it soon, as I'm going to Seattle at the end of May. Wouldn't it be a bummer to be there and not be able to enjoy coffee?
So I'm morning tea drinker now. I don't mind the transition, because I truly enjoy tea. I've cleaned out my little four cup drip coffee maker and am using it to brew tea now. I just toss the bags in the carafe & hit the on button. Oolong tea is my main drink, but I drink many other types ranging from black teas to herbal.
Change is good. This is a great opportunity to explore the world of tea!

Gosh you will hate me for this comment: the change in your bodily response to coffee could be due to aging. I loved nuts but when I hit my late 30s they no longer loved me. I have had this experience with a few foods as I have gotten older.
So it goes... all the more reason to enjoy each day and what it brings.
A very similar thing happened to me with coffee. I love coffee, but I can no longer drink it because it causes respiratory problems. When I drink coffee I get congested and cough for about an hour. It doesn't happen when I drink tea..... But I do miss coffee.
