bad tire karma

I blew another tire tonight....

The other week when the bike tire blew, I had blown a tire on my wheelchair the night before... And tonight was another wheelchair tire... Both chair tires have been blown @ fencing. I hook my right hand in the spokes of my right wheel for balance & apparently have managed to hit the tube valve just right 2x this month.

Oh well... I've got a backup wheel, so all I had to do both times was drive from fencing to work & switch out the wheel. Makes me a little grouchy though. Each tube is 5$. That's several cups of coffee, or several trips to the vending machine, or some other snack/drink..

But, let's be grateful that I can afford new tubes. Let's be grateful I have tubes. Let's be grateful that I get to watch amazing sunsets while I drive to get my spare wheel. Let's be grateful it blew in town & not in another city.

All in all, not a bad deal.

Did I ever tell you I fenced two years for Penn state university? It's a really exciting sport and I'm glad you can participate, just take it a little easy on the boys...
