time flies...

I really don't know where it goes... Most evenings I plan on working on my fundraising or blog post, only to run out of time or energy! And every day I'm surprised when it happens.

My Father & I decided I need a house boy. I estimate I spend at least an hour or two each evening doing something essential to general personal upkeep. Its not fair that it takes me 2-3x as long to do something. But hey, that's life.

Anyways, a typical day for me starts at 5am. Why so early? I get more work done early in the morning when no one is there. I've gots lots to do.

So up @ 5 or 5:30, out the door by 6 or so, at work by 6:15... there's something to be said for living very close to work.

By 6:30, I'm usually settled at my computer with a cup of coffee, working away. If I don't exercise, I usually leave work at 4pm. Sometimes I'll leave at 4 if I squeeze in an hour during the day, but often I exercise @ 4pm & leave after I'm done.

Today, I left work @ ~5:30 pm because I did an hour on the bike, but didn't get started until after. I had a great session, even though I really, really, really, didn't want to ride today. But I'm glad I did. From work it was off to the grocery store to grab food, then back to the apt. I got home about 6:30, unpacked the groceries, put it all up, started a load of laundry, and then hopped on email to return a few emails.

I decided on a light dinner, made a key lime smoothie & had a few grapes. (trust me kids, I can eat, I just had a big lunch & wasn't hungry hungry) I wrote a few more emails and then switched over to blog cause I'm way overdue for an update. It's now 7:44 pm. I'll wrap up this blog, do my dishes, pack lunch for tomorrow, fold clothes & put clothes in the dryer...

It'll be close to 9pm by then, at which time I'll get my clothes out for tomorrow, wash my face, brush my teeth & fix a cup of hot tea.

I'll take a few minutes to read a book, drink some tea, unwind & then go to sleep. After 7 hours or so it'll all start again... And today was a very typical day... Sometimes I don't think I'm busy, but then I realize taking care of myself is a full time job.

yup, I need a house boy.

Could I get paid with home cooking? Would I have to wear tiny shorts and stay lotioned up while I worked? LOL.
